    Works with children affected by armed conflict, delivering high-impact programs to rebuild lives. WCUK commits to communities for the long term to provide sustainable, intensive support across the entire conflict cycle. Guided by the needs of children, WCUK focuses on protection, providing a safe environment for children to live, play, and learn; education, removing barriers to education and providing literacy and numeracy skills; and livelihoods, delivering life-skills and business development training to vulnerable young people, as well as to their parents and siblings. WCUK staff and partners are on the ground in Afghanistan, the Central African Republic, the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Iraq, Jordan, Uganda, and Yemen. The organization works particularly with children living and working on the streets, children who have experienced sexual violence, former child soldiers, and children orphaned or separated from their parents by conflict.
